Illinois Employment Business System (IEBS): Layoff Tracking, Reporting and Aversion System
IEBS (Illinois Employment Business System) is a DCEO designed and developed system that is utilized to track state WARN and local layoff activity for Illinois. IEBS is a cloud-based system built in agile design and capable of integrating and interfacing data from multiple data sources to significantly streamline layoff oversight, management, and reporting. A unique feature of IEBS is its direct interface with Dun and Bradstreet organizational business intelligence and analytical data for Illinois businesses. IEBS integrates the DnB data to the layoff data and relative Labor Market Information (LMI). The combination of data empowers Rapid Response and local users to explore creative solutions to dislocated worker aversion techniques. IEBS combines all the interrelated data into mappable displays, real time dashboards, and extractable reports.

Levi is a longtime member of the DCEO Rapid Response team. During the development of IEBS, Levi served as an SME to Patti Schnoor and the workNet development team regarding processes and procedures. IEBS was created by Patti Schnoor of DCEO with the goal of taking as much of the workforce data that was publicly available, and bringing it all together into a system that would make it easy to access and understand.
