Women in Leadership: Where Are They?
Women make up 47% of the workforce. Yet, they make up only 38% of first line and middle managers. And the numbers continue to fall: Only 33% of senior managers are female; 29% of VPs, and 21% of "C-Suite" managers. And, only 4-5% of CEOs are female.

Why? Like all complex situations, this likely has very complex (and, perhaps, poorly understood) causes. Join the Alumni Association and Dr. Rick Ringer, director of the College of Business’ Organizational Leadership Institute, to explore the factors that are, perhaps, at the root of this issue.

Ringer has presented several well-attended and highly praised virtual events over the past year, covering topics ranging from what matters most in leadership to power and politics. He also serves as a professor of management in the COB’s Department of Management and Quantitative Methods.
